Pirarucu catfish leather: Nova Kaeru
Noteworthy in the world of Brazilian fashion, this material is used to trim the seats, using the brownish Criollo color, in addition to covering details of the instrument panel and armrests on the doors.

Used here for the first time in the automotive world, the use of this exotic natural leather has been legalized with government entities and environmental protection associations, in order to ensure the preservation of the pirarucu catfish, which is one of the world’s largest fresh water fishes, found in the Amazon region. Through responsible fishing and stewardship efforts already in place, a repurposing chain was set up to make good use of these skins that were previously discarded, resulting in this type of leather.
